Management/Spares Handling
From a network equipment perspective, by allowing KMM to become
the single point of contact to manage and handle your network
equipment, improvements can be made across your supply chain.
All network equipment/circuit cards would ship to one of our
regional logistics depots reducing Customer’s freight
charges and shipping times. Using our CO equipment management
experience, KMM would locate 100% of the circuit cards required,
buy or take on consignment, and handle new buy as well as
test and repair. This operation will allow Customer to consolidate
its entire PICS management process under one roof, with one
point of contact, and one accountable entity. The equipment
would then be tested to assess operational capability, with
good equipment being sent for repair, and bad equipment scrapped
in house. Warranty status would also be cross-referenced on
each piece of equipment with in warranty product returned
to the OEM. KMM will also manage overall inventory levels,
determine seed stock requirements, and make new buy or repair
decisions. This total solution will allow Customer to drastically
reduce lead times, reduce inventory costs, and provides overall
cost reductions and improved operational efficiencies across
Customer’s supply chain, allowing you to focus on your
core competencies. Highlights
are as follows:
